As a child, Gary was fascinated with aviation. His supportive parents let him play his flight simulator for hours and eventually got him flight lessons.
After spending a few years trying out a few professions, Gary fell in love with videography... When he saw a drone in a video one day, he knew he found his true calling.
In February 2014, he got his first drone, a DJI Phantom 2, and "Gary's Drone" was born.
Gary loves travel, filming, and of course flying the drone in amazing places. He is currently self-employed and welcomes contract work as well as the smaller one time gigs. He creates a bond with the subjects he films, and it really shines through in the final product.
Gary has been fortunate enough to work on many projects close to his heart. In addition to being a part of many special moments-- weddings and engagements, Gary has also provided footage for a number of large organizations, including the American Diabetes Association, HP, the San Diego Chargers, the USCSA.
Along the way, Gary has also helped out with a few larger scale film projects including "One day on Earth" and an entry to the 2014 San Diego 48HR Film Festival.
After a lifetime in San Diego, Gary is now a resident of Central Oregon.
